Our Future Home
On October 27th we will be moving into our new home at #3 20279 97th Ave in Langley. There are still a lot of things to get finalized, and the studio won't be finished for a while, but we will have a floor, toilets and sinks at the very least. Below are some photos of how the construction project has gone down...
But first here is a map of where we'll be located.

October 20, 2009. This is the week that the floor goes in! In fact the floor upstairs is down and should be finished by the end of the week. Here are some pics of how it all works.

September 5, 2009. Most of the 'systems' are finished at this point. Plumbing, Sprinklers, Air, Ceiling Grids etc. are all complete. The electrical and lighting will hopefully be finished in the coming week and then we can get out the lift (orange machine in pics below) and close off the walls. Things will really start cooking at that point.

July 20, 2009. The framing is mostly done and things are taking shape! This photo is taken near the back of the main dance floor looking towards the front of the building.

July 11, 2009. We have the wood!
June 23, 2009. Our crew is in the building! The first order of business was cutting the slab to layout our plumbing lines.
June 13, 2009. The building is nearing completion. We expect access to begin building the interior this week!
May 10, 2009. We have a unit! 4 walls a roof and a floor. We should be building inside the space within a month.
March 4, 2009. And then there were walls! (Our unit outlined so you don't get the wrong idea :)
March 1, 2009. That big yellow thing looks like a wall lifter to me.
February 20th. We have Roads! 203rd Street and 97th Avenue are finally paved. Hopefully soon we'll be wearing them out!
Jan 25, 2009. The foundation has been poured and they are currently building forms for the walls on top of that foundation. At the moment it is still a tad snowy but hopefully soon they'll be tilting up the walls and blocking out the snow for good!
Nov 23rd, 2008: The wagon has been replaced by backhoes and the sand is now covered in gravel. We're really moving now!
Sept 28, 2008: Here is an extremely small image of what the site looks like at this point. Note the inclusion of a red wagon for the sake of something interesting to look at! We will keep you posted.
